We are looking for the Director of VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“
VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“ is an organisation established by Vilnius City Municipality, responsible for implementing apartment building renovation, courtyard renewal, and residential environment improvement projects. The institution administers the Vilnius City energy efficiency improvement programme for urban quarters, aiming to create a higher-quality living environment and contribute to the development of a more sustainable and comfortable city.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“ is an organisation established by Vilnius City Municipality, responsible for implementing apartment building renovation and courtyard renewal projects. The institution aims to improve the living environment, create more comfortable, aesthetically appealing, and community-oriented spaces, and ensure that Vilnius city districts meet the needs of modern residents. The institution’s mission is to transform the living environment by increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and creating a higher-quality everyday environment for residents.
VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“ has been appointed as the administrator of the Vilnius City energy efficiency improvement programme for urban quarters until 2028. The institution’s activities extend beyond apartment building renovation and include broader improvements to the living environment – ensuring that every building and every courtyard has the potential to become a more comfortable, attractive, and vibrant place for the community.
The main areas of the institution’s activities include managing apartment building renovation projects from initial concept to full implementation, renewing neighbourhood areas, and administering loan repayment processes. To date, VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“ has implemented 170 apartment building renovation projects and is currently managing 135 ongoing projects with a total value of EUR 165 million. The institution has also renewed 97 neighbourhood areas, with more than EUR 7 million invested in these improvements.
As the scale and importance of the institution’s projects for the city’s development continue to grow, we are looking for a Director who will ensure effective organisational management, combine strategic and operational planning, strengthen the quality of project implementation, promote operational efficiency, and ensure smooth cooperation with Vilnius City Municipality, residents, partners, and other stakeholders.
General requirements (mandatory):
- University degree (in management, engineering, economics, or related fields);
- At least 5 years of managerial experience (in senior executive or department head positions within a company, group of companies, or institution).
Advantages (considered):
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, energy, utilities, or related fields;
- Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operational process optimisation;
- Ability to manage large-scale projects and operational processes;
- Strong leadership, change management, and decision-making skills;
- Experience in stakeholder management – working with institutions, boards, partners, and other stakeholders;
- Knowledge of good corporate governance principles and experience in their application;
- Knowledge of public procurement principles.

Selection process:
The Board of VšĮ „Atnaujinkime miestą“ has engaged the external executive search agency „Master Class Lietuva“ to conduct this selection process.
