We are looking for a CEO for LTG Cargo Polska
Freight transport company LTG Cargo Polska is a part of AB Lietuvos Geležinkeliai (LTG), the largest group of railway companies in the Baltic states. LTG Cargo Polska provides rail freight services across the East-West corridor, connecting Central and Eastern Europe with Germany and further Western markets.
Role Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will lead LTG Cargo Polska’s strategic and operational activities, ensuring sustainable growth, strong financial performance, and the development of the company’s position in the Polish and international rail freight markets. The CEO will be responsible for executing the company’s strategy, strengthening customer relationships, driving business development, and fostering a high-performance organizational culture aligned with LTG Group values.
This role requires frequent travelling with an estimate of 2 days in Lithuania and 3 days in Poland, per week.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall business operations and performance of LTG Cargo Polska.
- Develop and implement the company’s long-term strategy, ensuring alignment with LTG Group objectives.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability through business development initiatives and market expansion.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities in domestic and international freight transportation markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor business performance and implement necessary actions to achieve strategic and operational targets.
- Develop a high-performing leadership team and foster employee engagement and accountability.
- Represent the company externally in industry forums, negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
Position Requirements:
- Proven executive leadership experience within logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industries.
- International experience in logistics and transportation (an advantage).
- Strong understanding of the railway freight industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment (an advantage).
- Demonstrated successful experience in business management, growth, and organizational development.
- Proven track record of business development.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing profitability, budgets, and business performance.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management capabilities.
- Ability and willingness to understand technical and technological aspects of railway freight operations.
- Fluent English & Lithuanian language skills.

- Monthly gross salary range: 6,680-10,020 Eur. Specific salary offered depends on candidate’s work experience and skills.
