We are looking for an LTG People and Culture Director

We are seeking a Head of People and Culture for our client, the public limited company “Lietuvos geležinkeliai” (hereinafter “LTG”). LTG is a state-owned group of companies and the largest provider of freight and passenger transport and infrastructure management services in the Baltic States.

The core activity of the LTG Group is ensuring smooth passenger and freight transportation by rail, as well as managing infrastructure of strategic national importance. The company also actively implements major state investment projects and contributes to the development of Lithuania’s transport sector.

LTG continuously seeks new opportunities and solutions that encourage both people and businesses to choose the most sustainable mode of transportation — trains.

Key Responsibilities of the LTG People and Culture Director

  • Implement the LTG Group’s organizational development strategy in alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives;
  • Define priority directions for organizational culture, performance management, talent attraction, and development, and ensure their successful execution;
  • Shape long-term strategies for talent management, inclusion, leadership, and employee empowerment;
  • Ensure the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a competitive and fair compensation policy;
  • Analyze key people and culture metrics, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations that directly contribute to organizational performance;
  • Initiate and implement innovations within the people and culture function;
  • Proactively collaborate with external partners and stakeholders.

  • Critical thinking, emotional resilience, and the ability to identify and activate opportunities;
  • Openness to innovation, interest in AI, and emerging technologies;
  • University degree;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a People and Culture leadership role within a large company or group of companies;
  • Excellent Lithuanian and English language skills, both written and spoken.

Monthly Salary

€6,505–9,755 gross per month.
