The Board of the LTG Competence Centre, which we helped to select, starts its work

The independent members of the Board were selected from a pool of 128 candidates, who were selected by Master Class Lietuva, an agency that participated in all stages of the selection process in order to ensure the highest standards of transparency.

The Board of the LTG Competence Centre is inaugurated, consisting of 3 2 independent members – Giedrius Dzekunskas and Eglė Juzėnaitė – and LTG Group’s delegated LTG Group Technology Director Vytautas Bitinas. The Board of Directors of LTG Competence Centre, a shared services company that started its operations in February this year, has been elected for a four-year term of office.

“The Board ensures the long-term success of the company, opens the door to new initiatives, helps make informed decisions, promotes responsible business practices and strengthens its reputation. With a strong new team joining LTG Kompetencijų centras, the company is entering yet another important phase of its operations,” said LTG Group CEO Egidijus Lazauskas.

“During the first half of the year, LTG Competence Centre implemented a service and time management system to manage service requests, analyse the quality of service delivery and other indicators, and provide details of the services provided. The initiatives implemented during this period have already saved the company almost half a million euros. They focus on improving the efficiency of day-to-day operations, improving or automating processes and developing existing business systems.We are now successfully implementing all the planned works. I believe that constructive cooperation with the Board, based on partnership and mutual experience, will ensure the purposeful development of LTG Kompetencijų centras,” says Ieva Lauraitytė, CEO of LTG Kompetencijų centras.

More than 500 employees of AB Lietuvos geležinkeliai have been transferred to LTG Group’s shared services company LTG Kompetencijų centras in order to clearly separate strategic and tactical functions within the Group and to ensure more efficient servicing of all companies’ activities.

The independent members of the Board will be responsible for objectively assessing the company’s performance, identifying relevant risks, ensuring transparency and accountability in line with the highest standards of governance and decision-making.

The new Board of LTG Competence Centre consists of:

Giedrius Dzekunskas is an experienced member of the Board of Directors of companies, with many years of experience in senior positions in international companies in engineering, IT, energy, financial services. For the last 15 years, he has specialised in the development, implementation and management of an effective model and strategy for service centres.

Eglė Juzėnaitė is an experienced manager with many years of experience in leading teams in different countries, having worked in the strategy and management of service centres, as well as in the areas of IT, finance, procurement, corporate consolidation and transformation.

Vytautas Bitinas has extensive experience in project and process management, IT, strategy development and implementation, and energy, having held senior positions at Epso-G, AB Lietuvos Paštas, AB Lietuvos Energija, Lietuvos Telekomas, consulting firm Ernst&Young, and IT solutions and services company BlueBridge.

LTG Kompetencijų centras UAB is an LTG Group company providing shared services within the Group.
