New LTG Board formed
A new LTG Board has been appointed for a four-year term of office, which Master Class Lithuania helped to select. The new Board of Lietuvos geležinkeliai AB was formed for four years, after the expiry of the term of the previous Board.
A new LTG Board has been appointed for a four-year term of office, selected byMaster Class Lietuva. The new Board of AB Lietuvos geležinkeliai was formed for a four-year term, following the expiry of the previous Board’s term of office.
The Board is composed of 7 members, 5 of whom are independent.
The Board will consist of:
🔹 Tomas Zdanavicius,
🔹 Michael Fohrer,
🔹 Peter Nielsen – Independent Members,
🔹 Saulius Kerza and Agnė Amelia Mikalonė – representatives of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The selection of two more independent Board members will be re-advertised in the near future.
The Board’s priorities are the completion of the Vilnius-Klaipėda electrification project, the progress of Rail Baltica, the growth of freight transport volumes and the implementation of military mobility projects. It is also expected to actively contribute to increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of LTG Group and strengthening its position in the region and Europe.
