The AGILIUM executive search group gathered for its annual meeting
Together with colleagues from the AGILIUM Group across the EMEA region, we gathered at our annual meeting — this time in Warsaw — to discuss executive hiring trends across international markets.
Recently, Laura Duksaitė-Iškauskienė, Managing Director of Master Class Lietuva, returned from the annual EMEA meeting of the AGILIUM Worldwide Executive Search Group in Warsaw, where colleagues from 16 countries gathered.
Over two intensive days, we had the opportunity not only to meet in person, but also to explore what is currently shaping C-level hiring decisions across international markets.
The situation among shareholders — our core clients — differs significantly across countries.
In Germany, a strong wave of executive retirements is creating substantial demand for leadership search services.
In Poland, the defense industry has emerged as a new and highly active market for executive hiring.
Our Norwegian colleagues are increasingly shifting focus from the financial sector toward construction, which is currently becoming more active, while in Finland the construction sector remains relatively quiet, but industrial companies are actively recruiting senior leaders.
We discussed topics that are already reshaping executive search today:
- the impact of geopolitical changes on executive decision-making,
- the transformation driven by artificial intelligence within organizations,
- evolving investor expectations,
- and risk management when appointing top-level executives.
One message stood out clearly throughout the discussions: international collaboration is no longer a “nice to have.”
It has become essential if you want to offer clients truly strong leaders who understand both the market context and organizational realities.
Meetings like these provide an opportunity not only to validate our own strategic direction and understanding of the executive market, but also to exchange practical insights that we can later apply in our respective countries.
We are also pleased to welcome a new member to the AGILIUM Worldwide Executive Search Group family — BOII PARTNERS from Prague.
Congratulations to Mary Keane and Andrea Chladkova on joining — your addition significantly strengthens our network’s capabilities across the Central and Eastern European region.
Special thanks to Michał Gołębiowski and his colleagues from GP Executive, as well as Markus Brenner, Michael D., and the entire AGILIUM Worldwide Executive Search Group team for a truly well-curated program and a smoothly organized event.
