The Lithuanian Road Directorate announces the selection of the Director General.
The new Director will be responsible for:
– 20,000 kilometres of national road network,
– attracting and financing the investment needed to develop and maintain the national road network
– solutions for building bicycle and pedestrian paths, bridges and viaducts;
– Innovative technological solutions for transport infrastructure and the development of new activities in line with sustainability principles;
– A team of 300 employees.
The Lithuanian Road Directorate maintains and develops the network of national roads of strategic importance for national security.
As of January 2023, it is planned that the State Enterprise LACD will become a public limited company. The status of a public limited company will enable LAKD to apply the highest standards of corporate governance, to take decisions more quickly and to implement strategic projects faster, to attract a broader range of capital and investments, and to invest and dispose of its assets more easily.
Applications are invited up to and including 18 December, with selection interviews tentatively scheduled for 27-30 December.
