Master Class Lithuania launches search for LiMA Director
Director of the Lithuanian Marketing Association (LiMA)
Objective: To manage the Association’s activities, ensure the implementation of its strategic objectives, develop the community of members, represent the Association nationally and internationally, and enhance the prestige of the marketing profession in Lithuania.
Key functions and responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing operational strategy and annual plans;
- Planning and controlling the LiMA budget, responsible for the efficient use of resources;
- Form the LiMA team and ensure the team’s effective functioning;
- Developing the network of members, creating value for members (membership sales, events, training, certification programmes, partnership development, etc.);
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners: public authorities, businesses, other associations, educational institutions, media;
- Represent the interests of LiMA and the Lithuanian marketing community in public and international organisations (European Marketing Confederation, European Bureau of Advertising Standards);
- Track marketing trends and initiate business development;
- Ensure smooth internal and external communication and transparency vis-à-vis the Board and Members.
Job requirements:
- University degree (in marketing, management or related field);
- At least 3 years of management experience (preferably in an NGO or business);
- Excellent knowledge of the marketing field, the market and its trends;
- Project management, financial planning and team leadership skills;
- Ability to develop strategy and implement it through operational actions;
- Excellent public speaking, negotiation and representation skills;
- Knowledge of English at least at C1 level.
